Angela Scott

Angela Scott is a Florida-based artist whose work is rooted in her love of nature, storytelling, and the small moments that make life meaningful. Working primarily in acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media, she creates expressive paintings inspired by birds, wildlife, botanical forms, and the landscapes that surround her.

Angela’s work is less about simply capturing what something looks like and more about capturing what it feels like. She is drawn to moments of wonder, movement, stillness, and connection, often allowing color, texture, and symbolism to guide the story within each piece. Originally from New Jersey and now living in Central Florida, Angela finds endless inspiration in the beauty and character of her surroundings. Her creative journey has also been shaped by her experiences as a mother and by her 13 years as a dance educator. That background continues to influence the movement, emotion, and storytelling woven into her paintings. For Angela, creating art is a way of slowing down and paying attention to the natural world, to the people and places that leave an impression, and to the beauty that can so easily be
overlooked. Through her work, she hopes to invite others to pause, feel, wonder, and perhaps see something familiar in a new way.
